For most photographers, the best system is not the one with the biggest graphics card. It is the one that balances processor power, memory, fast storage, display output, and long-term upgrade options.
Here is how to spec a desktop that delivers real editing performance, whether you photograph products, weddings, sports, portraits, or content for clients.

A strong mid-range photo editing desktop could look like this:
